If Fyfe wanted to come to us I'm sure we would make it work somehow. He would have to take less, just like everyone else. Freo would need to pay some of his contract and we would have to compensate them heavily with players. Probably Stack, Bolton and picks.

I'd take Fyfe and a possible trade could be:
Fyfe in
Bolton, Macintosh and next years first round pick
Couldn't see us fitting into the salary cap so won't happen.

No, would never part with Stack.

Not even close to being enough to get Fyfe.

Righto, tell us what would then.

Our first round draft pick is going to be something in the mid teens (hopefully late teens) and ur saying that plus kmac who at his best is on the fringes of our 22 and Bolton who has just begun to get a run of games for us will be enough to get one of top few players in the Comp also being their club captain who is also contracted for many years to come???

Start with 2 top 10 picks probably on the early end and then start throwing in your steak knife players to sweeten the deal.

No need to trade our future for a player with a few years left.

We should get in his ear about retiring, then snap him up for a Luke Hodge type role.

And you may not think I care for you

I rate KMAC very highly who's 25 and Bolton is a potential star who's 20 for Fyfe who is a gun but getting older 29 next year.   Your not giving 2 top 10 picks plus players (as mentioned) for Nat Fyfe.  If it's just picks then 2 picks inside first round would do it.  KMAC was top 10 B&F 6 weeks ago. Forms dropped off obviously and it's bad timing for my post as he has been dropped this week.
But yes semantics as we arent getting Fyfe as I said in the original post.

I actually thought Fyfe was a couple of years younger.

In any case I wonder what you would think if someone offered kmac, Bolton and pick 15 for dusty who is a similar age.....

I'd never give up Dusty but if Freo offered Cerra, B Hill and a first rounder when he's 28-29 who knows??  I get your point.

He is 28 right now lol.

That'd be a poor deal. Give up on Fyfe lads

SPP dropped by Hinkley again... :shh
Will probably be dropped again on the performance today. Can’t see us wanting him to be honest seems to have gone backwards. Lacks pace and doesn’t work hard enough without the footy.
I’d rather Sier or we just grab another up and coming champion from our northern development team.  :rollin
The club that keeps giving.

I would take him in a heartbeat.

He was a long way off being their worst yesterday IMO.

I thought he looked a little slow and.... I felt he sat off the contest a lot of the time yesterday, rather than making and potentially winning the contest.

May be carrying an injury. Didn’t look super fit, but I only got to see the replay of the game.

Maybe he just doesn't wanna line up for them, like Lids for the last year we had him on our list...

SPP's been in the bad books and unhappy at Port since his off-field indiscretions early last year...kid's a gun and outside of maybe De Goey or Rayner he'd be the closest we'd could get to having a second Dustin Martin in the side... :shh

Also pretty tight with Stack.... :shh :shh
