Bennell says he has met with six clubs including Sydney.

In Bennell’s favour is the extra access clubs now have to acquiring talent and recent success stories in the form of Richmond pair Sydney Stack and Marlion Pickett.

The Swans, or any other club, can sign Bennell as a delisted free agent or in the new pre-season supplementary selection period as a rookie.

The latter means a club would be able to see if Bennell got through an intense pre-season program before making an official commitment.

Wobbles judt delisted Crocker....hope we're having a look.....has attitude issues mainly due to the fact his old man's been slowly dying from early-onset Alzheimer's for about the last decade but been following him since his draft year and when he gets it all together the kid can play.... :shh

Talk of Bennell ending up at the Dees. Apparently toured Melbourne yesterday.

Sounds like we're not interested after what happened last time.

Hope he gets rookied for a year, plays half a great season, earns a 2-3 year extension on good coin, then does his calf again.

Sam Murray

The former Magpie and Swan can start training with an AFL club from December 17, following his 18-month ban after cocaine was detected in his system in a match-day test. Melbourne, Richmond, Greater Western Sydney and North Melbourne are believed to be among the parties to have shown interest in Murray. Expect the dashing defender to be on an AFL list in 2020.

He was, then sides put a bit of time into him and he butchered it.

Melbourne has reportedly set up a meeting with delisted Magpie Sam Murray.

The speedy defender has interest from multiple clubs after being cut by the Pies and AFL Media is reporting that he will meet with the Demons.

The report adds that GWS, Richmond and North Melbourne have also inquired about the defender.

Prefer Crocker to Murray...don't need another turnover merchant bringing it out of the back half, already have Short for that role. :shh

What is it you see in Crocker? Agree his personal situation has had an impact however he is just an average player with no standout strengths. We certainly don't need a one dimensional slow HFF player disrupting our Premiership game style :shh
