that late bump on stack was spiteful, reckon they been trying to lay some hits on our blokes, that idiot who went knees into castagnas chest when he was taking a mark and arsed a mark, the Rioli knees into the ribs spoil etc.

Not doing the basic stuff manning up and poor positioning and rushing.Get back to basics. Our midfield and forward line there is no fluency and as usual don't take our opportunity.

I agree, but if we did any of those things, it would be free kicks and fifty metre penalties, stake my plums on it.

The first 15-20 mins of that quarter was pathetic. Soft! Simply a lack of workrate compared to theirs. They were winning the contested footy, spreading and running us off our feet.

We then finally lifted our workrate. Reckon Nank throwing his weight around lead the way. We started to win some hard ball and get back into the game in the last 8 mins. Didn't take our chances though with only one goal from about 5 shots plus Dusty dropping a sitter 45 out on the boundary.

Lucky to be only 13 pts down when it looked like the game would blow out. Need to keep our workrate and intensity up. It's the only way for us. Hopefully Dimma gives them a blast at half-time as well as reminding the boys that the Dogs travelled back from Perth so if we can stick with them we may run over them in the last.

Rioli is not one of our issues imo.  Defence looks pox atm.  If they were kicking straight they would be another 4 or 5 goals ahead of us.

In the last 10 minutes, the Tigers have won the contested possession count (10 to 7), intercepts (6 to 4) and inside 50s (5 to 2).

In a reverse of the first quarter, it is Richmond who have been inefficient in the forward half. Their kicking efficiency is just 36 per cent in this zone for the quarter.

Richmond finally get some reward for their dominance (6 of the last 7 inside 50s) with their 3rd goal from an intercept possession.

Stats:

Disposals:  162 - 200 ( contested: 63 - 59 )

Castagna is the most frustrating player. Needs to be dropped. dont care who comes in, all castagna does is kill momentum and EFF everything up. Could get away with him in the team at full strength but not when we're exposed like this

Can be forgiving of Rioli tonight as he's playing under duress with that corked hip. He can barely run.

Dusty though is not having any impact with his possessions. Looks good on the stats sheet but chalk and cheese when compared to Bontempelli's game for them.
