If Rioli had a different surname this forum would demand his Capuano papers for that effort on the wing where Houli smashed it out to him and it was Cotch and a Lion coming the other way....I suppose too much time can do things to a man....:shh

Did a few good things did Daniel but also reeked of human excrement on numerous occasions too. Never really gets called out for it, only a few do. Ah well

kumbaya i'm stoned btw amen

Maybe Brandi can score him a locker next to his at visy park   :shh

think you'll find it's down to us and GC. he is getting a godfather offer from the fat man's football department..... :shh

Surely we can't carry Shortsteps McTurnover into another final series....absolute liabilty...no player's consistently made me more nervous whenever they've had the ball in the backline since McGoof... :shh

I thought Rioli was very good today. Bolton capable of pure magic but has really stunk it up the last few weeks. Honestly I think his contract situation is getting the better of him.

I thought B Ellis was poor, wouldn't put his body on the line as usual, and didn't seem to be making it to enough contests in general. He wasn't our worst though.

we should never play bellis again.

1. because he was pathetic today

2. because he is leaving

3. kmac has more upside

this side of ours is only winning due to the best defence in the afl which include houli and throw in about 5 more. The rest are playing rubbish IMO especially the small forwards. FMD and towner is worse than all of them?

I thought Graham had an off game but wouldn't drop him. Agree with calls to bring in Kmac. Soldo was okay but we need more impact around the ground particularly in pack marking.

I know it’s early but here are my first thoughts considering the recent form of certain players. I don’t see a lot of the reserves so I’m only going by the Coaches rundown of the game. This may or may not change in the next week.

OUTS: Balta (isn’t ready), Ellis (had enough), Rioli (way off), Short (worsethanellis)

INS: Nankervis, Naish, Pickett/Markov(dependant on from in vfl final), McIntosh/Eggs (dependant on form)

B:David Astbury, Nathan Broad, Dylan Grimes.
HB: Bachar Houli, Nick Vlastuin, Liam Baker.
C: Kamdyn McIntosh, Dion Prestia, Patrick Naish.
HF: Trent Cotchin, Tom Lynch, Kane Lambert.
F: Jason Castagna, Jack Riewoldt, Shai Bolton.
Foll: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Shane Edwards.
I/C: Ivan Soldo, Pickett/Markov, Jack Graham, Josh Caddy.

Emg: Jack Ross, Mabior Chol, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, Dan Butler, Jacob Townsend
The club that keeps giving.

I can see your logic but there is no way they will make that many changes for a final (other than through injury) after a solid win.

My only change would be Nank for Balta if he's fit.  They won't do this but would love Towner to come in a lay some hurt on a few Lions who were ultra aggressive with their tackling yesterday
Throw Graham as the hard tag on Zorko or Neale

Unless half side fall over or come down with food poisoning there is absolutely no way (rightly too I might add) Naish comes in

Ditto Mrakov, Egg-Smith or Pickett

Cotchin looked out of sorts yesterday. I was wondering whether it would be an idea to give him a run in the twos on Saturday? He's hardly played much football recently.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Need to have played at least 6 VFL games this year to play finals.
I think.
Yeah we're already going to vote for him mate, you don't need to keep selling it.....

Need to bolster our midfield's ball winning capabity and bring in Ross and also so we can give a tagging role to Graham if need be - can't have Neale bringing his own footy with him again... :shh

Anyone who thinks pickett should come in cant be serious. Hasnt done anything to warrant senior selectiob.
