The Aussies should win anyway but this has been a weird 2nd innings. We just seem to be going through the motions. Odd tactics as we won't have the new pink ball in the night session against the Kiwi bats.

Didn't matter. The third test in a row we've rolled the opposition with a day to spare and this NZ side were ranked 2nd in the world.

Sounds like it will be either Pattinson or Neser to come in for the injured Hazlewood.

Seems like they've finally got the pitch right at the 'G. Something in it for both bat and ball.

Smith looks like he is on a mission. He's sorted out his technique with his pull shots so he isn't hitting them in the air

Aussies would be happy getting to 4/257.

Pitch looks great. Pity for Smith no century, got sucked into a short one.

Head with a half which is timely IMO l.

Not happy with Burns and Wade. Wade was good in England but I haven't seen enough from him as a stand alone batsman since coming home.

Shame that LBW was overturned. Woulda been looking irresistible with Williamson and Taylor in the sheds end of tonight.

Patto to rip through em tomorrow  ;D

The Aussies have ripped through the Kiwis.

NZ 148 all out.

Cummins 5-for
Pattinson 3
Starc 2

We'll now try to smash a quick 150 and put them back in late today.

NZ 240 all out.

Aussies win the series.

A big tick for the MCG pitch (finally!).
