Mask wearing will be strongly encouraged when attending the bars, toilets and other congested areas (such as the concourse).

MCG specialist Scott Boland is in the frame to be handed a shock Test debut against England and a slice of history as Australia assesses the workload of its pace attack.

Aussies 4/131 at Lunch. Trail by 54 runs.

Lyon 10
Labuschagne 1
Smith 16
Harris 48*
Head  11*

The most competitive session of the series. Our batsmen struggled against Anderson's swing and Wood's pace. Plenty of nicks and plays and misses.

Pretty average batting display thus far by the Aussies

Poor footwork and playing at balls that needed to be left

It's been like watching England

And just a comment about Camerom Green, needs to be more aggressive. Batted himself into a defensive hole yet again

England 4/31 at Stumps. Still 51 runs behind.

Starc and Boland with 2 wickets each.

Crowd today: 42,626

Talk on 7news that the next Test in Sydney isn't a certainty. Potentially the MCG could host it if the Test needs to be moved because all the players are already here.

great days play.

nothing better than sitting in the bay 16 balmy army, especially when they lose the plot as they did in the end.

bay 13 is a shambles. I think i saw a dozen evictions from those blokes today.
