Not a medical doctor but the way Dow's knee bent inwards when Coniglio fell into his leg would suggest a medial. Touchwood  there was no twisting motion as well and Dow's ACL is okay  :pray. Dow was awkwardly balanced adjusting to the ball slipping out of the pile on of bodies on the ground and his left foot got stuck underneath as Coniglio fell into his leg.

Certainly wasn't on crutches after the game and walked unaided

Couldn't see ice or a brace either

I thought he was very good yesterday. Provided something in the middle and seemed to get some good clearances when in there.

Update on injury?
From Peter Burge:

Dow was substituted out of the win over the Giants with a knee issue but could still be a chance to face the Saints this week after narrowly missing a more serious concern.

"Someone ran into the side of his leg at a centre bounce contest and got him in the quad, but his knee [went] inwards and he's quite hypermobile, so it saved him a bit. If that was slightly worse he might have done his ACL, but he had all the checks done and all of those things and then came good," Burge said.

"He's pulled up pretty well, but we'll need to wait and see when he starts moving around and running. I think he's a chance to be available."

Trying desperately to find a positive  :-\.

Dow needs to be persisted with in the guts. He was our leading centre clearance winner today and equal top tackler today.

23 disposals (8k, 15h, 12c, 12u, 82.6% eff.)
2 marks
5 tackles (1 in50 tackle)
7 clearances
3 inside 50s
5 intercepts
206m gained
1 goal assist

Really like Dow. I'd be building a side around him and Sonsie in the middle.

I agree i think he has shown more than enough to say he plays all year.
Trouble is as soon ashe has a bad one or two its likely he will be dropped.

He'll be dropped for Prestia when in reality they should drop Graham or "rest" at least one of Cotchin & Edwards..like I said before they should be playing the kids and rotating the oldies... :shh
