At least deserves the same opportunity Dow's currently being given....what he showed in 2022 are still miles ahead of anything Dow has ever shown or ever will show.... :shh

Could he play that high half forward role that Swans are getting from Will Hayward?  He looked lost again on Sat nite but has attributes we should value in a forward.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Needs a few more games to get more data I reckon.

I still think he can be a player, but also wouldn't surprise me if he faded into nothingness.

Give him games until the end of the season.

He’ll either earn a new contract or be delisted but atleast he will have been given the opportunity to show it one way or the other.

Plus maybe try him hbf, but I think hff may be his best position, definitely plays the season out

If Match Committee keep playing Cumberland, well so be it. Personally, seen enough to suggest he is not AFL standard. His disposal is atrocious especially his fascination with bullet passes which hardly ever hit the mark. He hasn't come to terms with the playing structure of the team, something he struggled with under Hardwick. I would prefer to play Coulthard throughout the remaining games as I see AFL traits in him.

Plays like a headless chook running around. Not even he knows what he is doing. Really don't want to see him in the team ever again, same goes with short.

I don’t think he’s suited to hbf. If you experiment with his position I rekn it would be detrimental to him. Maybe if by round 17/18 he is still floundering as a forward, you can give him a crack elsewhere but I just don’t see it personally. Best bet is to keep playing him as a forward and hope he starts showing the form he did in 2022. Reckon Lynch coming back will be massive for him as well as everyone else in that sorry forward line lol

Loved his spice tonight and awareness up forward today. If he can keep increasing the work rate and pressure he has my respect.

A good start.

Agree. His workmate was good as was his effort. Hopefully continues to play like this for the remainder of the season.
