Bad night for the Pies all round losing Jeremy Howe to what looked like a PCL. That's a 10 week injury.

Mason Cox showed again he is a one-game wonder. He dropped every pass that went near him.

The ‘blueprint’ to stop Collingwood is now obvious - tag Sidebottom.

And stay close enough to them on the scoreboard to half-time :yep.

Pussies look decidedly ordinary and should've lost... forget Tomlinson's miss that was never going to go through- that dumbarse Salem cost Melbourne the chance to win the match when he ignored about three free blokes inside the 50 in far better positions as he was running to his mark after the penalty.. :shh

Freo did us a favour knocking off the Saints. If one of the Bombers, Suns & Giants loses tonight then a win tomorrow  :pray puts us back in the top 8 and only half a game off a top 2 spot.

Scoreboard flattered Norf too. If Essendon had kicked straight they would have been smashed. Norf's only gameplan is to kick it down the line. You just need to tag Higgins out of the game and hold numbers back to hit them with pace on the break to beat them.

Mind you Norf will pump themselves up for their 'Grand Final' next week like they always do  ::) while we press numbers up instead :-\.

i have zero confidence in beating north.

in fact i dont think we will win.

if it wasnt for our defence we would be completely screwed right now.
