Roach was one of the best contested marks in the game, I'll never forget some of the absolute screamers he took in the late 70's going into the 80's! Superb kicking action too, very rarely missed a set shot. But Jack is a more complete player with better all round skills & is a selfless team player these days.
That said, Roach is still one of my all time favourite players! It hard not to love a full forward who consistently leaps over the pack to take the most incredible screamers!
