It’s not even a question
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Roach was one of the best contested marks in the game, I'll never forget some of the absolute screamers he took in the late 70's going into the 80's!  Superb kicking action too, very rarely missed a set shot.  But Jack is a more complete player with better all round skills & is a selfless team player these days.
That said, Roach is still one of my all time favourite players!  It hard not to love a full forward who consistently leaps over the pack to take the most incredible screamers!      :clapping
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

Roach for me. Played on great full backs in his time also kicked well over 100 in a season. Superstar.

If you are looking purely at the full forward position then Roach is the better option for mine.

However Jack has incredible football smarts and you would be wanting him to be standing beside Roach. One of the best and quickest football minds I have seen.
