De Goey to re-sign with the Pies but only for two years so he can exercise his free agency rights in 2022.

Source: Tom Browne on 7news.

De Goey to re-sign for 2 years so he can try and get some consistency in his game so he can try and get $1mil

Subject of course to his upcoming court appearance

GWS to ask the question to sound Jesse Hogan out and whether he'd be interested in coming over east.

Melbourne are the frontrunners for Hawk Isaac Smith.

Collingwood want Adam Treloar to make the first move and they desperately want this contract off the books.

Clayton Oliver now stays at Melbourne.

Higgins to Saints, conflicting reports re: Markov, and an extremely unlikely rumour which I'm sure you'll figure out:

Tiger Jack Higgins 'told he could be traded' (SEN)

TIGER JACK HIGGINS ‘TOLD HE COULD BE TRADED’

SHOULD THE BLUES GO AFTER "GETTABLE" TIGERS SMALL FORWARD JACK HIGGINS?

BY SEN
26 October 2020

Richmond small forward Jack Higgins fell off the map towards the end of the 2020 season.

The 21-year-old didn’t feature for the Tigers after Round 15, despite being a regular part of the team for the first half of the year.

SEN Chief Reporter Sammy Edmund believes Higgins could find himself on the trade table next week.

“Jack Higgins, definitely gettable is the term we throw around at this time of the year, he has been told there’s a chance that he will be traded. He’s got one year to go (on his contract),” Edmund said.

Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney believes Higgins would be a perfect fit for Carlton.

“He’s one that would slot into that Carlton forward six really well,” Cooney told AFL Trade Radio.

“We spoke earlier about Alex Sexton, I’m not sure he’s the type of player Carlton needs in their forward line.

“I’d love to get Jack Higgins if I was a Carlton supporter. He’s a pressure player, kicks mercurial goals and just tackles and harasses and that’s what they need down there at the feet of those big boys.”

Carlton has been actively seeking a small forward for a while, missing out on Tom Papley in the 2019 trade period.

At 21, Higgins would provide the Blues a long-term solution at the position.

The Tigers meanwhile have a plethora of depth at the position, including the likes of Shai Bolton, Jason Castagna, Jake Aarts and Daniel Rioli.

Jesse Hogan is in the class of Brendon Fevola, damaged goods who will drag a club down.

Big pass.

Tom Morris reporting that the Pies have indicated Treloar no longer a required player at the Pies
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

We dont need Hogan. Higgins leaving is fine because he is eadily replaced. Pickett leaving is fine too because he is easily replaced too.

I hope we do a deal to go ip in the draft to pick up Will Phillips if we can. Phillips Rioli and a tall forward would be a good draft.

Treloar apparently on a $900k/year back-ended deal.

Fmd what a joke.

Don't mind if we trade Higgins. Pickett I heard is staying at RFC for 2 years.

Hogan I have strong reservations about unless he is dirt cheap to trade/pay.

Serves Collingwood right. Theyve botched their chance. Buckley will never win a flag.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Treloar somehow was able to come to us and get a premiership and where he felt loved and wanted.  :rollin

I am all in on Jesse Hogan, the guy can play. If we get him for a late 2nd or 3rd rounder he is worth the risk.
