Patrick Lipinski is officially a Pie for pick 43 to the Dogs.

Peter Ladhams has officially notified Port Adelaide that he wants to move to Sydney.

GWS is making a play for Hawthorn's Chad Wingard. Callum Twomey told Trade Radio that given their tight salary cap, the Giants would have to fork over pick 13 for the talented small forward.

Twomey also reckons Essendon will get Bobby Hill with a 3rd round pick (either this year or a future one).

Geelong and Richmond are among clubs with interest in ex-Cat Blake Schlensog, reports The West Australian.

The key-position Next Generation Academy prospect was let go by Geelong after two seasons with the club and enjoyed a strong 2021 campaign for WAFL club South Fremantle.

The 199cm product played at both ends of the ground with hauls of five goals and four goals to his name.

He could be picked up as either a delisted free agent and the national, rookie and pre-season drafts.

Schlensog’s manager Tim Hazell was confident that his client has what it takes to return to AFL level.

“He’s certainly one of the better key defenders outside of the AFL,” Hazell said.

“(He) has really matured, worked on his game and is really deserving of another opportunity at AFL level.”

THE TWO CLUBS ‘IN PLAY’ FOR HAWKS STAR

Port Adelaide great Kane Cornes thinks Richmond and Port Adelaide are the two clubs to keep an eye on as potential suitors for one of Hawthorn’s stars.

It emerged last week the Hawks are willing to trade senior players including Tom Mitchell, Jaeger O’Meara, Jack Gunston and Chad Wingard to bolster their draft hand.

“It’s just messy, I can’t think of a better word to use,” Cornes told AFL Trade Radio.

“And now the other clubs are going, they (Hawthorn) are desperate, you’re not going to get market rate or the actual value that these players deserve because of the other clubs knowing how desperate they are,” Cornes told AFL Trade Radio.

“I think the two clubs in play here are certainly Port Adelaide, just sitting back there in desperate need of midfield depth.

“And I’d keep a watch on Richmond.

“The situation they’re in, the draft hand they’ve got and maybe the ability to pick off a couple of players for a bargain basement price like the Western Bulldogs did last year and bolster that midfield.”

Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd added: “I’ll be surprised if one of O’Meara, Wingard or Mitchell isn’t leaving Hawthorn by the end of Wednesday night.”

Wingard seems like he's staying at Hawthorn, but still think a big name will leave.
Either O'Meara to Port
or Mitchell to Port, Freo or Richmond is my guess.
Ceglar should get to Geelong.

Tyson Stengle is set to join Geelong for 2022.

According to multiple reports, Stengle wants to play for the Cats next year and reunite with former Adelaide teammate Eddie Betts, who recently took up a coaching role at Kardinia Park.

Almost all clubs have bad blood with Essendrugs.  GWS and Dons history is around the Dylan Shiel trade when Dudodoro took it through to the final 10mins before eventually handing over x2 1sts in return for Shiel and a future 2nd.  Dudodoro then got on the trade radio and said that both him and every Druggo supporter will be hoping GWS win the spoon the following year.  What a campaigner!

I heard Hill to Dons for a 3rd rounder? Sounds cheap.

If he has any talent as a small forward we should enquire, seriously anything to avoid watching more Aarts + George running around like noobs.

I hear GWS will string it out until it expires (unless they get overs) and leave Hill no option but to stay.
I don’t think we can fit anyone in without trading someone out with our salary cap

Collingwood ruckman Max Lynch has formalised his request to join Hawthorn.

Sydney is assessing Adelaide's updated offer for Jordan Dawson after the Crows put forward a new proposal on Monday. The Crows have offered a future first-round pick, which is tied to Melbourne, in exchange for Dawson.

Montagna earlier tonight on Fox Footy's Trading Day show was saying O'Meara's stats match up with the likes of Jack Steele and Richmond being one mid short should look at O'Meara.

Would give both our firsts for Steele, wouldn’t give either for omeara.

That’s gonna happen like George Pell is going to be appointed the patron of Ronald McDonald House
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
