“There’s multiple clubs that have enquired about Ugle-Hagan’s willingness to entertain a trade in what it must be said has been a difficult debut season for him at Whitten Oval,” SEN reporter Sam Edmund said on Thursday.

“He has grown somewhat disillusioned with life at the Dogs this year.

What could he be disillusioned with at the Dogs?? They won't play him in the top side?? is all I can think of.

Warning bells going off if that is the case

Maybe it is Mia's kiss of death first she dates Rioli who looses form and then dates the no 1 draft pick and he struggles.

Perhaps miffed that even Schache got a game ahead of him?

It's probably all just media speculation and in the end he stays at the Dogs but it is an uncommon situation for a first draft pick. Normally they go to a bottom club and get given senior games immediately. He's going to have to bide his time instead with the Dogs currently top 2 while his draft peers run around in the seniors at other clubs.

I'd go after him if we lost CCJ....only problem is he'd know he wouldn't be a walk up start until Jack retires so probably wouldn't want to come -though I'd back our ability  over most other clubs to change his attitude... :shh

He's been there 6 months? Not even?

And I thought Higgins was soft for leaving rather than sticking it out fmd.

  :lol
No doubt the fevs have got in his ear.

I’m not up with all the social media but from what I gather playing in the twos isn’t great for the social status.
Dan found that out when he was dropped not only from the senior side but by the fevs altogether once it was obvious that he wasn’t going to be like Cyril.  :shh
Unfortunately for Ugle-Hagan, the number 1 pick comes with great expectations & responsibilities, just how long are the fevs willing to wait for the social media status credits to start rolling in.  :rollin
He might be forced to get that performance show on the road as the main attraction to appease the social influencer’s status credit machine.  :rollin

Sam Edmund believes gun GWS Giants midfielder Josh Kelly is “more likely” to leave the club at the end of 2021.

Jack Billings becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the year and club great Nick Dal Santo believes he may be better suited at another club in 2022.

BOMBERS HOLD TALKS FOR TIGERS PAIR

Essendon list boss Adrian Dodoro has held talks with player manager Ralph Carr about the futures of two of his clients in Tigers pair Shai Bolton and Mabior Chol, reports The Herald Sun’sMark Robinson.

Carr is believed to keeping the out-of-contract duo’s “options open” – who were both coached by Essendon coach Ben Rutten when he was an assistant at Richmond.

It is understood that Essendon has the cap space to acquire both players despite still needing to re-sign the likes of Zach Merrett, Darcy Parish and Jake Stringer.

Bolton – who is set for a bumper pay rise amid a career-best season – could command as up to $800,000 on the open market – a price Richmond can’t pay.

The young star has reached a “contract impasse” with the Tigers and put off talks until the end of the season, with West Coast and Fremantle monitoring Bolton’s situation in hope of luring the Western Australian home.

Meanwhile, both Chol and fellow Tigers tall Callum-Coleman Jones have previously been linked with moves to rival clubs in search of more opportunity elsewhere given the squeeze for ruck / forward spots at Richmond.

If either of those two were seriously considering maybe they should ask Basha about the culture at Essendon

As much as I love Prestia in the yandb , his hammies are a major concern, what could be an upside here??

Is he tradeable??

Since he come over he has contributed to all our 3 flags going bananas here  :banghead
So you believe he is not tradeable, and we just keep him, nice to know. :shh

And I thought the trade talk on the Tom Lynch thread was bad  :gobdrop who cares if he misses some games during the home and away season. He always makes it back for finals and dominates. One of our most important players.
Sheesh i agree with this.He is our best inside mid by some margin.

Personally im not fussed going after a big name. I reckon after this year it is time for a serious rebuild to start and would prefer we tie up our better younger players and find a way to get better picks in the draft.

Don't need a rebuild just some renovations...window's wide open for another two years at least......:shh

Kane Cornes is expecting rival clubs, like Essendon and Collingwood, to raid Richmond's list given the salary cap squeeze.

"There's got to be a club aggressively come for these guys."

Dons can have Houli back.

Plenty of space to free up with Houli and Astbury cooked. Cotchin very close. Caddy to move on.
