There was no mention of it in the video of the presser on the RFC website.

Dees fan and regular SEN caller Chris from Camberwell reckons we'll have to bring CCJ in because of Jackson not Gawn lol.

Why is that so funny, The bloke had a 17 possession game took 5 marks had 22 hit outs and spent 80% of the time on the ground along with Gawns 90%. Nankervis cant be in two places at the same time.. If we bring in a young Ruck fwd like CCJ you would hope he has a similar output wouldn't ya.He would also make em think if he goes fwd Jackson probably would have to as well.
Jacksons time on ground and stats are  even more reason why Nank could do with a decent chop out. 184cm mids wont cut it this week. Seems like common sense, Nankervis plays on Gawn and CCJ plays on Jackson.

I actually agree that we needed a second ruck and this week probably more so. Thing is he was not available before last week and has little to no football so far this year.  Even with that I would bring him in this week but I'm not on the selection committee. I will have to go with their selections, they do have the runs on the board in the last few years

What the hell is going on down there. We have a 200cm 105kg very promising Ruck/Fwd who is tracking in the right direction and doing most things right with an ageing Jr and a struggling TL and at the very least people dont want to give him a game it seems including the brains trust fmd.
Insterad lets play 184cm Pickett as a pinch hitter ruck or EVEN rob our backline of its structure and play Balta or Astbury there Cmon people it laughable. Also come on Hardwick at some stage you have to bite the bullet please dont leave it until it is too late just find the right balance of kids playing with the vets.

But he is 200cm. I'm sure somebody here kept banging on about 200cm and plus were no good. Just can't remember who it was.

This is why Lynch is good. He's only 199cm.

Haha worth a laugh sorry Clawski!

Dont be sorry i give as good as i get. But a bit of context would be nice .
Yep i stand by the comment if chasing a Kpp in particular key forwards  i prefer we take em around 195 rather than 200cm.I believe in general  they are quicker more agile  better built and stronger, and far more around this height seem  to make it.

Dont believe i have ever said not to take em if they tick the boxes. It does seem in recent years more 200cm players are becoming decent KPP'S.
If people were to ask if i have any concerns about CC-J It would be down the same lines as Vickery. Vickery was neither a good enough ruckman or a good enough kpf he was just okay in both roles but not great in one of them.In CC-J case i dont think he lacks ticker unlike Vickery.
