Hmm it should be a no brainer that both Castagna and Rioli are dropped. My god they have been awful for weeks now.

I dont see a spot for old panic pants Houli gets the ball but fmd he is horrid. Time to move on imo.
Cant see Naish making it so so soft. Jack Ross also has struggled a fair bit time to send him back to the two's for a month and just get some continuity and confidence into him.

Reckon all of Cotchin, Prestia, Edwards and Bolton will play and we just have to bite the bullet and give CC-J a run of games ffs.

Its Simple Bolton for Rioli, Edwards for cantkickya, Prestia for Ross. Cotchin for Naish and i personally would do CCJ for old panic pants, it wont happen though they will probably drop Hugo for CCJ. I also hope they seriously look at Miller for Astbury.

Broad - Astbury/Miller - Grimes
Short - Balta - Vlastuin

Pickett - RC-D - McIntosh
Nankervis - Cotchin - Prestia

Bolton - Lynch - Edwards
Aarts - Riewoldt - Martin

Baker - Graham - Ralphsmith/Houli - CC-J

How would you structure up Claw with CCJ ? and what tweaking would you make to the team to get us going.

Hmm structure. The whole idea of bringing in  CCJ would be to 1/ give Nankervis a decent chop out so probably 30% ruck time mostly against their #2 ruckman. The other idea is to have him take some heat away from Jack and Tom so 30% Third tall and 20% With two rucks on the ground allowing Nankervis to play behind the ball.We have so many smalls and two mediums like RCD and Dusty who should be part of those rotations thru the forward half.

Whats needed to get the team going well if you believe our ability to lock the ball into the fwd half is now compromised because of rule changes and a few other variables as i do  then we must improve our ability to get first hands on the ball c/p's and our ability to win clearances.
Prestia, Bolton. Edwards and Cotchin significantly help in this regard. the other obvious thing needed is for us failing to win constant repeat entries we need to be efficient when we do go forward. Smart clever elusive SKILLFUL players like Bolton and Edwards sort of turns things around from Rioli and Castagna and CCJ helps the talls from being too heavily targeted.

Not sure if this is what you wanted as an answer.

Team Tips:
The Tigers could have a bounty of additions with Shai Bolton (wrist), Trent Cotchin (hamstring), Shane Edwards (ankle) and Dion Prestia (calf) all in the mix to return. While Damien Hardwick might not want to rush back them all, Bolton seems most likely to be a certain starter. Jack Ross (11 disposals) and Hugo Ralphsmith (eight disposals) might be two players pushed out by the big-named inclusions, while Marlion Pickett heads to the tribunal to clear his name after a one-week ban. Callum Coleman-Jones slotted four goals in the VFL and is pressing to play in the No.2 ruck role.

Edwards still unavailable according to the RFC website. Only 'probables' are Cotch, Prestia and Bolton.

How far is Lambert off from returning?

From Burge's report:

Potential Inclusions

“Hopefully (there are) some inclusions this week, we have got Trent Cotchin, Dion Prestia and Shai Bolton potentially returning to the side.

"We have got two training sessions to get through this week. Once the boys have completed those two sessions and (if) everyone is happy, then we would expect those inclusions to the team.”

In the Mix: Round 11

RICHMOND

Richmond is in line to make a number of welcome changes, dependent on three players recovering from injury – Trent Cotchin, Dion Prestia and Shai Bolton – getting through training this week. Shane Edwards is still at least a week away. Hugo Ralphsmith was quiet in his second game as the Tigers were well-beaten by Brisbane, while Patrick Naish has picked up a minor hamstring complaint. After a few good weeks, Jack Graham was relatively subdued against the Lions, while Jack Ross has been on the fringes. Marlion Pickett will be challenging his one-match ban at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

Verdict: If all goes to plan on the injury front, Cotchin, Prestia and Bolton for Naish, Ralphsmith and one of Graham or Pickett, Tribunal-dependent.

Lynch in for scans today. Has clearly been carrying an injury for much of the year IMO. Might see him rested this week.

In: Cotch, Prestia, Bolton, CCJ, Chol.

Out: Ross, Ralphsmith, Naish, Pickett (susp.), Lynch (knee).

IMO we needed a second ruck/extra tall even with Lynch playing. Now Tom is out I would bring in two talls. CCJ & Chol can rotate between ruck and forward as they do in our VFL side. When not up forward they can provide a chop out for Nank and more importantly provide a down the line marking target to improve our connection from defence to mids to our forwards.

Stack isn't fit enough yet IMV.

I'd bring him in as sub. He can play forward, back or on a wing.
