Jonathan Brown didn't miss ripping into the Blues and especially Zac Williams on AFL360 last night.

------------------------

Jonathan Brown has lashed Carlton’s “astonishing” lack of workrate and leadership while labelling prized recruit Zac Williams “one of the laziest footballers” in the AFL at the moment.

“Don’t worry, there’s about 100 pieces of vision we’ve left on the cutting room floor. We could’ve gone through it for the next half an hour and showed it. We could’ve really hurt his reputation. I’m just verballing it for you.

“That bloke has come to the Carlton footy club, paid that sort of money, he needs to turn up in better shape and get himself fit and turn up and put in a better effort, especially on defence.”

Williams wasn’t the only Blue singled out during the Carton discussion, with the panel also highlighting efforts and decisions made by co-captain Sam Docherty and forward Jack Martin.

Not sure why Johnno Brown is surprised by Williams, was the same at the Giants. When things are going well looks like a star, things get tough and he goes missing. Check out the 2019 GF if you need reminding. And to think some folks on here thought we should have considered bringing him the RFC

As for Jack Martin, same.... final year at the Suns played as if he was already at Carlton. Now he is at Carlton playing like he wants to be back at the Suns  ;D

David Teague says Damien Hardwick reached out amid speculation about his future.

"He talked about Richmond's courage to back him when things weren't going well ... for him to reach out to let you know he understands what you're going through was was really nice."

CARLTON is searching for its fifth coach in nine years, with the club sacking David Teague on Thursday after a bizarre and drawn-out conclusion to its external review into the football department.

Walsh McKay and Weitering all supported teague. These players are pretty unhappy now. 2 board members are against Ross Lyon being appointed. Theyre a rabble at Carltoon. We should get Teague to Punt Road.
