If Shaun Higgins is named as medical sub tomorrow night GEELONG are set to be the first V/AFL side to use 11 players in their 30s in the one game.

Of their rookie listed players
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Got to love how Geelong are allowed to get away with putting an opponent in a headlock (Cameron on Perryman) right in front of the ump ::).

ps. Add soft frees inside 50 (Hawkins).

2 goals in over a quarter of supposedly finals footy in perfect conditions. SHocking's ridiculous dud rules in action  :thumbsdown.

Edit: Finally the Giants get their first.

ps. Four inside 50 frees to Geelong already. #protectedspecies

That's Simon Meredith.

Frees 16-10 to Geelong.

#FreeKickGeelong

How many dodgy frees have lead to goals for them tonight?!  :thumbsdown

Can someone explain how Henderson got that free on the GWS goal-line? Totally changed the momentum of the game as Geelong ran it down the other end for the goal.

I'd love tigers to get some of these free kicks cats got tonight. One ump in particular.

Welcome to SHocking's rules ...

where this is a free because it's Tom Hawkins diving (another Shooting Stars meme).

https://twitter.com/ethanmeldrum_/status/1433770831134412800

and this isn't a free kick because you apparently can put your opponent in a headlock if you're a Geelong player.

and this is a free because when both players are holding each other it's still a free to Geelong.

and this isn't a free because it's once again Hawkins and he's allowed to push his opponent in the face/head.

and this isn't a free because Danger is allowed to scoop and throw the ball.

It’s close to cheating , why is there a bias towards Geelong, surely they cant all be Geelong supporters or is the stink of Hocking still lingering

Either we're watching  different game or the aflhave blinkers on and cats benefit out of this so much . I'm on the Power this year going along nicely.
