The only positive for mine tonight. A promising debut. Well done Gibby. You stood up and did your job. Sadly your senior teammates upfield didn't do theirs.

This kid was good under pressure. Will clearly struggle to back it up week after week. He looked exhausted at the end.

Nice debut though. Very promising.

Was OK and clearly will get better

This kid  :bow. Does get a bit lost but stuff me sideways he can play.

I agree 100%. He knows the caper just needs experience and some extra size. Looking like our draft picks will be ok from last November.

This kid is going to be very good

But give him the time he deserves

There will be some poor games along the way

But he is showing there's a lot to like

Yep, well put.  He will have bad days too, as do all defenders.  What stood out today was his kicking!  Very composed & very capable with the ball.  A couple of excellent marks too ... keep up the good work Gibby ...      :clapping

His kicking was excellent.  Kicks it to where the player should be going not just to the player.

Not a real big test today but you could still clearly see the kid's gonna be siomething special... :shh :shh

Shown enough in 2 games with his marking, spoiling and kicking to know he is going to be as good as any key back in comp in 2 years time.

His selection also enables Balta to play forward which is a nightmare match-up for the opposition now.
