Josh Gibcus suffered a suspected serious hamstring injury at training this morning. Carried off the track by two trainers. Will meet with a specialist tomorrow to determine if surgery is required @AFLcomau

"Unfortunately, Josh suffered what we think is a pretty serious hamstring injury (on Monday). It's pretty fresh, he will consult specialists in the next couple of days and we'll know the plan of action from there."

I feel you, although Grimes has had a gun career after that. I thought he was never going to get on the park for a while there.

If our other talls stay fit we are well placed to cover him with all of Grimes, Balta, Tarrant etc. Biggie backup. Don't need to rush the kid back and he can recover properly.

Agreed. Luckily it's not 1997-2010 and we aren't expecting a kid to save us. Get his body right. We already know he's a gem.

If it needs surgery could be out for 4 months.  I don't know anything specific and hope it's not that bad.
