The most pleasing thing for me was the fact he had the 2nd effort of reversing his error.

That's leadership. Some players would drop head, throw arms up, complain to umpire, points finger for a team mate to chase.

This is gold stuff, the tackle was great but for me it's the act of coming back after an error which is the most important. Excellent stuff.

Beautiful kick of the footy and can really roost it too. Can play that intercept role and also provide dash off half back.

1 area he can certainly improve on imo is his defending. Needs to be stronger when defending 1v1 and also tends to get lost sometimes when defending in a zone. I’m sure that will come with time.

Kids the real deal and just strikes me as a taller Vlas.

Put him on the wing and watch him dominate the competition

Honestly a solid idea. Speed, marking and kicking.

Tom Brown was also excellent in keeping Giants captain Toby Greene to 12 touches and one goal.

Thought he was one of very few positives yesterday. Very excited about the player he will be in 2-3 years. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a future captain either.

I agree i like this idea. Nothing to lose and it is starting to get well into the season cmon Yze its time to try some things that may solve some problems.
Can always put Trezise behind the ball at hb and see how hes going.

Balta one wing
Brown the other

Backline from Miller, Trainor, Broad, Young, Blight, Gray just stuffing figure it out.

Forward we can go Lynch, Sims, Faull with Armstrong to come back and Fawcett possibility.

Please stop moving balta around. He is a defender and only a defender, think we’ve learnt that by now seeing how much he struggles when he is taken out of his natural position. He may be athletic as hell but he just doesn’t have footy smarts to play anywhere else.

More bursts in the ruck.  :shh

He wasn't consistent forward.

Was good in the ruck imo.

Never been played on the wing or in the midfield and honestly I reckon his pace would be useful and worth trying.

I was told by one of the coaches that the reason the he has not been in the ruck was he simply doesn’t have the tank. Not sure if that has changed since then but it has always been his achilles heel

Hence why I said "bursts". :shh

Was publicly stated at some pointed but can’t remember which coach. Think it may have been yzes argument for playing him fwd
