I’m critical of the umpires but tonight was on another level. Blatant holding the ball or incorrect disposals not paid to us. Lynch was held and a ragged in every contest and was even in a headlock competing for a loose ball and still nothing. I’d love to see stats on frees paid to all key forwards because he gets NOTHING. I also that the free against him when Jack took that hanger was more likely to go his was as DeKonig only had eyes for Lynch and was holding him.

Pathetic. There is nothing to be proud of losing when you are in front by 3 goals and make brain dead decisions.

We let yer another game slide. That’s 4 now due to our leaders doing sfa when we needed them.

Nank ruined our momentum with that stupid kick off the ground.

He also took about 4 intercept marks in the last quarter so I wouldn't put the spotlight on him. I do agree though we should of iced it and didn't (again)

Get Cotchin, Prestia, Lambert and Balta back for finals and anything can happen if they play with that pressure and zeal.

Cats sure as poo wouldn't wanna play us in September.

Key miss was playing Ross, Short and Baker centre ball up when up by 5 points. Had to be Dusty and Bolton.
That’s the game.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Great effort , but no composure at times silly stuff and we keep making those school boy mistakes and to many shots missed on goal.

I can’t remember but did Prestia get a free kick for the hit? Surely.
The club that keeps giving.

Yup. Lynch, Macca dropped Auskick marks, cost us 2 goals. Then Lynch & Bolton missed simple snaps, another 3 goals. Should have won by 4 goals.

Nope

Either did Baker in front of goals when they got him high

Blatant cheating

Facts are AFL wankers (Gil) hates Richmond and it is on display week in, week out with the blatant umpire corruption. Absolutely had enough :banghead

Hate to be super critical of a kid

But that contest in the final qtr half way between centre wing and the Cats F50 when Gibcus punched the ball towards the centre rather the boundary was super costly. They got a goal and momentum

He will learn from it but gee it was so costly. In those situations you play the percentages and punch for stoppage or boundary not into the centre corridor

Ditto the Ross kick that dribbled along the ground

Hawkins also needs to be spoken to as he always pushes his opponent into traffic, unbelievably dangerous. His push on Grimes could have resulted in a major injury. Weak prick does it weekly.

Very disappointed to lose especially after junior put us in front but about halfway into the second I thought we were headed for a 10+ goal loss. The boys showed a lot of heart after the Prestia incident and playing against the horrendous umpiring. Shame they couldn’t bring it home and belt the song out. Would have been up there with the away win @ port in 2019.
