I was a little kid. Don’t ask me why I liked him or even what my favourite memory of him was because I will struggle to give you an answer for either. All I remember is him being one of my favs lol

Only in tiger supporters deluded minds was Dragacevic electric. Amasing what so many years of mediocrity yr on end did to tiger minds.

We just needed something any thing to hang the old hat on.

Be fair

The tiger mind in question apparently looks after an olive farm in Italy

Patience is important

Do olive's have adverse affects on the mind if your around them a lot.?Gotta be some sort of explanation  :snidegrin

Staggering he hasn't received a "Ris9ng Star" nomination

Been solid all season

Can't agree with this. Had 4 or 5 good games a few near or at  the standard and a whole pile of very quite games.
He was that quite earlier in the year that we rightly gave him a rest under the guise of rest or some such thing.
Leading into the Port game he probably should  have been dropped again.

If i was going to be highly critical of him id say the lack of consistency and ability to stay in games is one of the bigger ones. But hey we all realise he is still only 19 and this happens.

This will probably be interpreted as me bashing one of our young players and that is not true. He shows a lot of promise and looks good in areas but he has a long way to go.

Not sure apart from 4 or so games he would be thought of for Rising star. And no he has not been solid all year.

Saved yourself there, otherwise yes highly & unduly critical!

Even he isn't consistent.

Has managed about 45 DT points the last two games, hasn't cracked the ton yet in his debut season.

....

We can agree to disagree. They're just stats and tell a story but they don't tell you what happened with the stat.

Please don't speak to me like that as well. It's bloody rude and I deserve to be treated with more respect. I give plenty of respect to people on this forum myself.

SNIP and edit

I've made it clear in the last couple of weeks

Any posts that directly snipe, insult, bait and troll other posters will be removed and/or edited.

There's no need for it...

Great point made above

We can agree to disagree, there's no need for the petty insults

And before people start complaining, there are at least 2 posts where I made it clear why we were making this change
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

..I am going to make this very clear :banghead

A post has been removed because it contained another insult; just like the post I removed and edited this morning.

Posters can stand by their opinions, that's not the point. You can stand by an opinion without belittling other posters by insulting them by calling them "morons" or as in the recently removed post "stuffing precious".

Just on a fortnight ago the mods on this site in particular me were accused by a poster of favouring other posters when it came to baiting, trolling and insults

At that time I made it clear going forward I would be removing any posts that baiting, trolling and insults

Below is part of what I wrote:

"Finally, constant baiting and trolling is against site rules.  But get your point so today I will remove every single post that could be deemed as baiting and trolling..OK?

And as I've said before, be careful with what you wish for
"

I also said that if people had an issue they could take it up with the poster who made the accusation of favouring posters.

So since then I stayed true to my word and removed a number of posts

SO again rather taking a pot shot at me, take it up with the poster whose accustions instigated the changes

Pfffttt Really.
Im all for playing kids knowing they will struggle at times and a lot of the time maybe not up to the standard. Fmd that is a given yet i say play em. Why is that.

why sugar coat this situation play em but why talk about them as being something more than they are.
Why do we have to build em when they have not done a lot.

Nope i dont need em to be winning undeserved rising star nominations to keep playing them. Nope  im happy to play em warts and all because that is where we are at.

When will supporters learn to not build players up to something they are not only to tear them down when they don't meet expectations. FMD it happens all the time.

I actually agree with your assessment of SC.

Good skills, footy nous, strong shoulders etc.

And is a kid, needs to develop and be more consistent.

That's exactly how I'd describe him.

But on the topic of Rising Star I don't think it's a stretch to imagine that one of his better games this year could have earned a nomination.

You forgot to read WP's post  :lol

But I agree with most of that. It's just that you advocate playing the kids and then jump on here and say "well they haven't done anything yet!!!".

It's the pre 2017 Clawski cycle all over again. You call for kids to play and then a few years later you call for them to be delisted. You are literally never content as a supporter and it's just bloody miserable.

Who is the poster? If you're referring to me I hope you have some evidence to back up your claims. I did rightly point out that you'd removed a harmless post of mine and let a lot of abuse slide from others. Given I wasn't actually baiting anyone with my post nor have I been involved in a slanging match with anyone here for a long time, I thought you were being unfair.

I mean, you only have to read a certain part of clawski's post to see he's abused someone for the 687th time this year because they have a slight disagreement with him. It's just not consistent across the board.

But hey, if my words to you are now inspiring rule changes then just add me to the moderating team. I'll fix this place right up  :shh
