The real disappointment for me yesterday was what they served up on this large and important stage. Complete contrast to last week .Although in front for most of the night I felt that Essendon were the better team with more system and intent in their play, and it was only a matter of time before they hit the front .

x2. Could see it coming. We just weren’t on from the start.

You could clearly see what the drug cheats were doing and we didn’t do anything to stop it.

Port will likely be at full strength on the weekend. Boak cleared of injury plus Dixon and possibly Marshall back as well  :help.
