Maurice kick along the ground out of the centre inside 50. Street hands to Melville who misses the shot on the run.

El Nour is a terrible player not VFL standard and clueless for good measure

No one front and centre at the marking contest at HF  :banghead and Port clear and run it down for a goal.

I don't care who the new coach is but the first thing they must do is re-teach our players the bloody schoolboy basics.

Terrible turnover by Port 15m out from our goal. Kick didn't go 15. And Lefau grubbers a goal  :gotigers.

Free to Campbell for a push in the back 20m out in the pocket (makes up for the one at the other end).

Misses.

Final Score

Richmond     1.5     2.8     7.10     10.12-72
Port Melb.     1.3     5.6      5.7       7.9-51

Goal: Olden 3, Lefau 2, Bradtke, Banks, Sonsie, Melville, Johnson.

First 2.5 quarters was garbage. Last 1.5 qtrs decent and that 10 min burst before 3QT won us the game.

Would love to see Kane Lambert take over our VFL side

Sonsie started to look like a footballer again the second half. :shh

MRJ in the guts. :clapping

Has his flaws but still reckon Lefau's worth a punt as a rookie if we have to upgrade one of the VFL boys. His tackling alone should get him a look in. :shh :shh

Possibly for the first time I agree- the first two lines only. Lefau can continue to play NRL in the VFL sqad :shh

Given the way they tackle we could do with someone playing NRL in the AFL squad, Dogs & Filth have been doing it all year and are going alright -  or you just scared he'll take your spot? :shh :shh

Our VFL team is now in 10th spot. Depends on Carlton tomorrow against the Casey Demons if we stay there at the end of the round.

Next week final round is an early "wildcard final" to make the wildcard finals, as Norf are 9th and just two points ahead of us on the ladder. So, destiny is in our own hands. Win and we're in; lose and it's season over.
