We will likely get the spoon the way we are playing and coached.

I can't see us beating north. A real slap in the face if you ask me in a draft that is really even.

Our last spoon didn't even get us pick 1 when we grabbed Cotch. Finishing on the bottom is an even draft will be an embarrassment ,and as Sicily has said everyone needs to be accountable.

Yep - a year too late to get Reid and a year or two too early to use our draft hand & Baker & Bolton to get him across.... :shh

Xavier Lindsay:

Quote
A lowish possession count not withstanding, Lindsay was close to BOG in this game.  He was competitive, clever and slick at stoppage, winning more clearances than any other player and regularly initiating forward breakaways or applying tackling pressure if needed.  When he found the ball in space his usage by foot was creative and precise.

Lachie Jaques:

Lachie showed the full package in a fantastic performance here.  He was excellent in the air, taking several intercept marks as part of his 9 intercept possessions for the game, he ran off his opponent assertively to launch attacking moves and he used his tidy foot skills to hit targets at varying distances.

Sam Lalor kicked three goals against the Allies, all from F50 1v1s. The powerhouse midfielder was compared to Dustin Martin by his Rebels coach last year. You'll be hearing a lot about this kid in the lead-up to the draft.

Lalor's profile drops tomorrow on @ESPNAusNZ

Sid Draper is stepping up to SANFL level with South Adelaide for the first time in 2024 tomorrow. Finn O’Sullivan also making his Vic Country return, overcoming a fractured finger.

I think the Pick 1 race is down to three: Draper, O’Sullivan or Josh Smillie. #AFLDraft

Lalor or Smillie for me.

I want a tall, powerful midfielder. As close to Cripps or Bont as we can get.

Not keen on the 180cm guys tbh.

A few concerns about Smillie for me - goes to ground too easily, looks poor below his knees and although they say he's tested quicker than Cripps, Bont & Green, he doesn't look all that quick to me... :shh

Agree. Hence why I want O'Sullivan.
