Poor kids being compared to superstars like Dusty and Bont.

He is compared to them because he has some of their traits well Dusty ones anyway.

Have liked this kid from a long way out. Still a bit torn between him and Sid Draper and the other one who may have the biggest upside of all three is Smillie.

I do like the bigger bodied mids for the modern game. Lalor has it all he is explosive powerful and strong with genuine pace.

If we got two of the three id be real happy.

We do need that pace and explosiveness in our midfield. Lalor and Draper really do address that.

Agree Claw, I am worried about Jagga Smith, obviously a rare talent but he is too small for my liking and looking at 22 games a year getting pummelled week in week out….
I like the bigger bodied players as well.

If they can put on weight there's plenty of short mids that tear it up at AFL level even in today's game.

Neale, Serong etc.

Even Prestia in his hey day.

But I get the sentiment and I agree. I want the Dusty/Bont types - don't we all?

We have given up a bit for pick 20
Paperwork approved.

Brisbane trade its 2024 Round 1 selection (currently 20) to Richmond for two 2024 Round 2 selections (currently 32 and 42) and two 2024 Round 3 selections (currently 43 and 45) in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft.

Would have loved to keep pick 32. But pick 20 wasn't going to come for not overs.

Basically pick 32 to 20 and give up 42, 43 and 45.

I think it's a good deal for us without being amazing. Good work by the club being wise enough to be in for a deal like this.

A shame 5 first round academy/FA picks that make it less attractive but think this is a tick.

Leave us with Pick 51 and 63 to offer to GC to get Pick 6 and 23 over the line.

Bolton for 10 and 11 or he stays.

They'll want future picks too for the allegedly stacked '25 academy options.

I know we had to pay overs but that is way over imo.
Its a fire sale at Richmond. What was the rush Blair.
