If that deal with the kangas is legit and I really haven’t seen it reported outside of that 1 article above so I’m very skeptical, we should be all over it.

Pick 1, 2, 10, 18, 20, 23 & 24 this year and then we’d likely have 2 top 5 picks next year with our pick and the kangas future 1st and all for pick 6 and 11 - where do we sign?

It’s a no brainer

Only way we get shafted is if kangas finish top 4

And I can’t see that

It’s so good of a deal that I find it hard to believe it’s real. Even if the kangas finish top4 it just makes it an even trade 2 & 15 for 6 & 11.

Either this is made up, it’s missing some details about us giving up more picks or we’ve hit the jackpot lol

Might just mean that North rate this draft, think they want a bloke or two and are prepared to slide down because they have a lot of gun mids with LDU, Wardlaw, McKercher etc, and they probably think they're climbing the ladder into the middle 1/3 at least next year.

Even if they finish 7th which is top of that middle third, that equates to pick 12. That’s still a win for us imo and I just can’t see a way the kangas finish that high. They are either extremely optimistic or they highly rate this draft class or a combination of both.

Don’t forget about Taj Hotton.

Was on fire earlier this year and looked right as a top-10 draft contender before his ACL injury. Lots of clubs with multiple early picks will be right in the mix inside the top-20.

The more I ponder this, the more id prefer if the club retains all picks and abandons pick 2.
Trade back into next year with 23/24 if happy with the previous picks.
Pick 6 still going to net a good player.

If North pick Tauru at 2 …..one of Smith or Langford will be there at 6, that's a sweet spot to be, particularly with 10 & 11 up the sleeve.

Pickers believes the Tigers should be bidding on Levi Ashcroft with pick one in this year's draft.

If you were Richmond, what would you do with pick one?

So does that mean we get pick 32 back?  :shh

Having read this morning how young Levi "wants" to be the number 1 draft pick

I wouldn't bother bidding on him just for the fun of it  ;D :snidegrin

I'd bid on him at number 2 ( and yes I think we will end up with pick 2)
