Changes for next week against the Crows?
« on: June 01, 2024, 10:49:40 PM »
Doubts over Pickett (calf) and Lefau (knee).

Dusty was expected to be 'rested' given the 5-day break and so that he can play his 300th at the 'G in a fortnight's time, but do we have that luxury?

Outs: Martin / Pickett / Lefau

Ins: Blight / Gray / Bolton

Maybe give Nank the night off too.

I like it. I was impressed with Blight

But Prestia is due back next week.

So that's another in.

Banks was horrid in the VFL and is looking more like delist material with each passing week but will probably replace Pickett because the only other fit wing option in Coulthard was even worse.....neither of them are wingers though.... :help

Don't agree with him being delist material, ditto Coulthard

But do agree Banks was very poor yesterday. Shouldn't be promoted based on that performance

I forgot to add a fit Bauer should also be considered.

Although I prefer him as a forward he was good down back yesterday

Bauer on the wing maybe? Does he have the tank -do  we even have any true wingers left? At least he'd be a marking target down the line. I'd bring in Grey for Lefau & keep Balta down back where he belongs. Blight will get his chance at some point - Broad looks half cooked but he won't be dropped.... :shh

Bauer will provide us a marking target but he does look good down back. With Bauer and Noah forward with Ryan providing support, we have players who can clunk the ball, however the main issue is getting to the forward line in the first instance.

Unless one is Bauer and we play him on the wing we don't really need to bring in two talls for one out....one of Gray, Bauer or Blight in that order...prefer Balta stays down back and one of the first two can play forward....... :shh

Have to say I wasn't as impressed with Gray as I was with Blight

Gray was good but Blight was better IMV
