Hosking has either bad hammy or cramp just as she was about to mark. Pulled up like she was shot.

Essendon player down. Possibly an ACL. Stretcher out. Don't like seeing any player badly injured.

Less than 2 mins to go.

Considering she had hamstring tendon surgery in the off season

It doesn't look good

Yep. The fact she has gone off it most likely is a bad high hammy. Could be career ending.

Final Score

Richmond    2.2    4.2     5.4      6.6-42
Essendon    1.1    4.2     6.4      6.6-42

Goals: Brennan 2, Sheerin, Yassir, Conti, McKenzie.

Another game where it's on the coach that we don't walk away with the 4 points. You can't have a coach who takes until the last quarter to counter what the opposition are doing and change things up that aren't working for us.

We've also lost Hosking (on crutchers with ice high up on the leg due to that bad hammy) and possibly Miller who was off for that last quarter.

We're not going to go far in the finals playing this handball happy gamestyle with little defensive positioning and accountability. Very much like the men's team 2013-2016 & 2023-24.

Absolutely agree. As I posted earlier whe  it comes off it's brilliant. But too often we go for one too many and turn it over

As I said our Coach is clueless. Which means he'll probably get an extension next week

Coach needs to come into question at the end of the season surely. He’s been in the job how many seasons now and we are just a pretender with no clear identity.

I don’t follow the the AFLW other than Richmond games, but is Brennan considering one of the best key forwards in the comp? Greiser surely can’t be. Every time I watch neither seem capable of taking anything remotely close to a contested mark. Biggest weakness in the team imo and I’m not sold on our keys in defence either.

Not all their fault, the mids might wanna lower their eyes and try kicking to a lead rather than bombing it in at every opportunity. Then with sub 30 seconds on the clock when all we needed was a point instead of bombing it to the square where there would have been a good chance to even rush it through, that’s when one of them decided to dink it 40m away from goal.

Anyway as I said earlier in the thread, this team has the markings of one which will get bounced in an elimination final.

Brilliant example of a team with a game plan and a team without a gameplan
