Reckon he's gonna be the most impressive draftee next year and may win rising star. But others have higher ceiling

He does, but he's more ready made than the others. I think Hotton could be absolutely anything.

Tipping Jagga Smith will have the most impressive first year but not the most impressive career. :shh

If we are talking next season then I agree he might be up and down.

But long term I think josh potential is Cripps/bont/kouta...

Obviously his floor might be low too like rcd

Of course he should

He should not be automatic, he needs to earn it over pre season as does the rest of squad.

Otherwise you develop entitled brats.

No need to choose to be an hole Damo.

Have you thought my reaction might be a bit different because it’s coming from

A lot of these kids are going to get games.

Just gotta give it to them.

See plenty of other clubs with kids and 50 games under their belts after 3 years and we have previous few of those.

I don't think you realise how poo we were last year and that 6-10 blokes were gifted games every week

Not unrealistic to think a ready made kid who was touted as pick 1 for plenty of this year will be able to step into the team

My guess is a lot of the kids will get some games they haven't earn  and will play against players who are levels  above them.  Because they don’t rip it up  in their first 10 games there will be some calling them duds and  scared .
I hope the new kids just do enough to give a bit of hope for the future but due to his size Smillie looks the most likely to be the first kid picked in the seniors imo
