There’s zero transparency - only a suspension.

Nobody bar you seems to expect the club to disclose what Balta has told them prior to court proceedings lol.
Then hold off suspending him! It’s that simple. If the AFL want to override the club, let them. In the end, it feels a little like we are doing their dirty work for them. I have a cracking story to tell about another club which was told by a player which highlights how the AFL almost take joy from overriding the club and acting themselves (or at least forcing their hand). This also happened in the off season. It was way worse and ironically could have been kept from the public but it was decided not to do that. A disgraceful way to treat employees who make the money for the competition!
I obviously cannot share that story but weak leadership is allowing others to impose themselves on you.
Guys, on occasion, it’s okay to be unpopular if it’s for the right reasons.
They had 2 choices - suspend and explain explicitly why or hold off until the judiciary process plays out.
We actually did it with Marlion Pickett and while the circumstances were a little different, the principle holds.
Anyway, I will leave it at that. I appreciate everyone has a different view and perhaps the posts are food for thought. If not, you know what they say about opinions!
