Wouldn't be shocked if there is still CDT hope.

Sharp. Duursma. Reid is pretty nice and well balanced

Then again maybe wce think they can get back in for sharp and take CDT 2

My dream super unrealistic never happening scenario is WCE taking Duursma and Sharp. Essendon being so desperate for CDT trade their picks 5&6 for our pick 3. They take CDT then we can take Robey, Cumming and XT…..

Yeah get the feeling whoever we miss out on - Taylor. Robey. Cumming. Will end up a star. Oh well can't have it all.

I want Robey and Cumming.

The more I read about him the more I think Taylor will be quality.

Sounds like he will end up a very capable wing and or mid , too

If we pass on Taylor and he ends up being a star then it is what it is, I’ll be more filthy if Sharp ends up being a star and we passed on him even with all the evidence at junior level with how good he is.

Eagles and Tigs just don’t rate him I guess. There’s even a thought that assuming bombers keep all their picks they may take 2 players first in the thought that the dees will pass on him too.

Id be hoping some SA Intel can help with Cumming v Sharp. From what I've seen Sharp has always been the highest rated player. Cumming may have more ceiling.

In saying that though Draper looked a million bucks last year and could hardly make the Crows best 22, albeit a strong side. Compare that to Levi Ashcroft. Maybe the SA form isn't as strong as it once was.

I've always rated Sharp but the jungle drums for Cunming are getting louder. Taylor I'm happy to pass through to Essendon. We have Gibcus and Trainor, Taylor isn't as big a need in getting in gun mids, especially with Smillie body being a question mark now.

Anyway what does everyone think of twomeys final mock which has us taking Cumming and Robey? Guys been dead on with the first 10ish picks since 2021, but he doesn’t seem as sure this year, RFC leak proof atm, no one knows for sure what we’re doing and it’s killing them lol
I was surprised that Twomey went with Cumming and Robey for us when Geischen said in his interview with Twomey on Monday that Xavier Taylor played like a Richmond player. So I'm expecting Taylor and one of Robey or Cumming.

If we want Cumming and the Bombers are desperate for Robey then we could end up trading pick 3 + F2 for picks 5 & 9 as rumoured. Give us Taylor at 4, Cumming at 5 and possibly Grlj at 9 as well.

I wouldn’t be trading any future picks. If bombers/dees want Robey/cumming so bad they need to give us 2 of their top 10 picks for 1 of ours back. If not, take the 2 players we rate highest and move on to night 2.

I have always liked Cummings so hope we get him. He has speed and aggression , looks like Butters to me.
I heard we may trade pick 38 as part of the deal , 4 and 38 for 5 and  9 and a later pick . It will be interesting to see if it happens

Hell no to that trade IMO.

Just stick with our picks.

If the Grlj rumors are true it would make sense.

I'd also prefer to hold what we got.

I was into cumming and Grlj before Robey exploded into the scene.

Since then have maintained it has to be one of Robey/cumming and Grlj.

If we could somehow end up with picks 4,5,9 I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Would get us Cumming,Taylor and one of Farrow or Grlj

Would equally happy with Robey and Cumming as well though, but I think it leaves our midfield a little one dimensiona.

I humbly disagree, Cummings is quick, elusive and is versatile , and is different from our other mids. Have a look at his videos .

It all depends on who our recruits rate higher out of cumming/robey/XT. Although we don’t know for sure, all signs point to bombers wanting Robey ahead of those 2 so if our team rate cumming and XT higher and would pass on Robey anyway, it makes all the sense in the world to do 3 for 5 and 9. Still get the 2 players they would have selected anyway and add another player at what will become pick 13 after bids are matched. If it does play out like that then atleast in terms of executing a plan, recruiters need to be applauded for keeping their plans so tightly sealed that no one knows what we are doing.

I’d 100% not be giving up our pick 38 as per of it though, seems like we’re gonna get an opportunity to get a good player there too.
