Our next bid was on Hussien El Achkar. Bombers match it.

It's actually a great thing all this bidding

Just highlights how pathetic the system is

Am I right in saying we have 1 list spot remaining? So if we pick at 61 we don’t have a  spot senior or rookie left for kellaway?

It's rare for me to be disappointed with our draft night. Can't recall when I've been this frustrated.

I follow the Vic boys a lot so to have 1 player from Vic, no Kellaway F/S, Greeves left and we passed late. Don't like being negative with untried kids but unsure if the recruitment team have had a glowing day 2..

We passed on our last pick.

So if we want Louis Kellaway it will be in the rookie draft.

Greeves is slow with poor endurance. Not surprised at all that he didn’t get picked. That type of pure mid is being phased out. I mean look at Sharp, by all accounts has been the best most consistent performer for a couple of years and he slid all the way to 13.

I’m very surprised NHH hasn’t been picked up.

58. St Kilda - Ryan Byrnes (redrafted)

59. GWS - Jake Stringer (redrafted)

60. Bulldogs - Will Darcy (F/S)

And that's all folks for the National Draft!

Twomey just said it's the lowest number of picks taken on record.

I know he represented SA but it seems like him and his family have been constantly moving states,  I read/watched an interview where that was mentioned. Not sure he needs an entourage of SA boys to help him from getting homesick.

He's not really a SA kid though, he's from the NSW/VIC border etc.

But yes it's strange.

It must also be one of the lowest numbers for Vic metro to be drafted as well - particularly in round 1.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
