He was a 20yo kid being egged on by mates

Never heard of peer pressure?

You don’t know anything about the bloke Andyy.
Like I said , he might be all you’ve described and more.
Might also be a good kid that did something silly.

You are indicating he’s a poo bloke without knowing what he’s like at all

Average IMO

I do know at least one thing about the bloke - under alleged peer pressure he will makes jokes about women who have been raped, which he's done in the last 12 months.

Maybe he'll grow up and be a more decent and assertive person because of it, if he hasn't already. We don't know.

Predominantly I'm saying I wouldn't take the chance at our club, personally. If he's a good bloke, or he's grown up, or has sufficient talent - he may not have been delisted by GWS?

You are making excuses for jokes about rape, which I submit to you also has an 'average' look to it IMO.

Air shagging a blow up doll ffs

Every chance he didn’t know it was anything to do with rape .. just a dumb kid

There are others involved that did far worse IMO .. like dressing up as Jarrod Hayne as a starting point

As a side note , I’m not saying yes or no to picking him up .. all I’m suggesting is it should be decided on footballing ability , not on what he did with a blow up stuffing doll

And I’ll add, comparing him and the Elijah Hollands situation , give me a spell

Just going to agree to disagree and end the discussion there Damo.

Glad we kept it civil :)

Just so we are clear on Fahey's involvement

Fahey was the one dressed as Jarrad Hayne. The one with the blow up doll and he did a "skit" with the blow up doll.

Please don't suggest he didn’t know the circumstances around Hayne. It was Front page news

He copped the harshest penalty because his action's were as I've said many times disgusting. Making jokes about a women being raped is not ok. It is simply wrong.

Clubs and players should learn by this .
Don’t have mad Monday functions in venues with staff or anyone outside of playing and coaching group at your end of year mad Monday because no-one outside your playing group will understand the humour of a 20 year drunk bloke taking the pee .
It’s  not a matter of if but when it gets in the media and is policed by the AFL captains of the world

It was a private party and held in a hotel room.
Subsequently it ended up getting leaked to the media. Not by the players and obviously not by the public.

I think hanging young men out to dry is as bad as the joke itself.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Malcolm Rosas Jnr has had his exit meeting today at the Suns and he will be seeking a trade. Has been in open dialogue all year with Gold Coast on his next steps.

Richmond & Sydney have been frontrunners for the small forward as he weighs up his preferred destination. @AFLcomau

A 'sign-on bonus' for free agents who leave to join clubs mired at the bottom of the ladder is being considered by the AFL.

The extra cap room for those clubs would be an incentive to help attract free agents to young teams.

More or less something I've suggested for years.

Although my version was mostly a higher TPP adjusted for ladder position.

It's not a bad idea tbh as far as equalisation is concerned.

Not sure it matters so much as most free agents leave for success rather than money. TDK is probably the exception to that

Money talks though and all clubs have the same TPP.

If you had a spare million dollars to throw around I think that's a big difference. Look at Sydney's COLA.
