I’d rather a midfield of lawlor, smilie, Taranto , hotten

I think that's a lineup for next year. Claws line works well for 2025. Mind you brown has been playing well off half back.
Yep thats right for this year. We probably wont see Smillie Hotten or Lalor again this year.If we do it wont be many games at all id say.Same may go for Dow.

Mids rotating from the bench Lefau Hopper play Sonsie there Even give Rioli a go thru there along with Green.    geez id like em to try Lefau as a mid.
Its time to change things up and try things.

I have all year said this is our list of mids excluding wingers or high hff. there are few and nowhere near enough there are some who should not be there.

Kids
Lalor, Hotton, Smillie, McAuliffe. Thats the future we need more.

Mid tier
Ross, Dow, Sonsie.  Maybe all need to go. Make your own minds up  its a worry. All are fairly average players so far.We definately need to find a few good ones to add to this group.

Vets
Prestia, Hopper, Taranto.  Hopper and Taranto are more short term than mid term players maybe 3 or 4 seasons  and Prestia could be gone at seasons end.

We need upgrades badly on the wings we have so why not try Campbell and Brown there.
We have a few mature mids but need to plug the gap between the kids and vets with some good players

The 20-year-old is starting to establish himself as a key part of the Tigers’ midfield core, playing the past five games and averaging 18.4 disposals, while also providing strong work inside the contest.

“It's been really great fun to get back out on the AFL field with the boys. Working with Jack Ziebell, my development coach, we had a chat on the first day back in and went through a plan to keep the form going.

“Working on my role, narrowing that down again, sticking to the basics and just finding out what my best footy is and sticking to that and playing to my strengths.”
