Anyway, strikes me that the likes of Sonsie, Dow and Smith have been told that they’d need to wait until after the trade period before a call is made on them, unless they’ve quietly re-signed.

I suspect that maybe he needed to hit a certain target to trigger the 3rd year which he didn’t do.
