I think I said last year that we should go to the trade table at the end of any year with no untradeable players.

Any club: we want Lids
RFC: what's the offer?
Bris (for instance): Aker & pick 72
RFC: No thanks

Or Alternatively

Melbourne: we want Lids
RFC: what's the offer?
Melb: Cam Bruce + Pick 12
RFC: Will you pay all of CB's salary for two years?
Melb: Yes
RFC: Done.

I.e. Everyone is tradeable for the right price.

No need to panic gentlemen. 6 delistings and 2 or 3 players put up for trades. If we dont get the trade im hoping for then yes...we may have some problems coz we do need an earlier pick. Anyway the next 6 weeks will be intriguing for all of us.

terry should take the blame along with miller

cant blame many of teh players

its not their fault they were selected to play for us by ppl who cant coach and develop them.

wallce should walk away
miler should walk away

knights should take over

we must trade delist get rid of
sugar
joel
richo
gaspar
tiv

and everyone who has no effing idea how to play

we have to start playing all our kids and f our leaders and experienced blokes off

At the moment our senior players with supposedly good skills are letting us down.

Dont worry about letting us down.

Watched the Captain kick straight to the opposition inside forward 50 last night. If they captain does that repeatedly, what example is that for the younger players.
And you wont improve players skills once they are have been in the system for a while. Richo is a perfect example.

Yeah he does it time and time again.  Or he handpasses the ball to a player who has his opponent standing right next to him.

They are just not gone enough.

I wasn't just talking about our old players like the captain, Jack. Anyone over 22 is a senior player.

1) Moore,
2) Hartigan,
3) Limbach,
4) Humm,
5) Roach,
6) Rodan,
7) Chaffey,
8) Howat,
9) McGuane,

Stafford (Retirement) makes 10

Gaspar (Traded or Delisted or Retired) makes 11

Daniel Jackson (Where will he play, what position, what job role in the team- hasnt really improved in last 12 months) makes 12

Trent Knoble (tries hard, but do any of us believe he'll be there on a Grand Final Day for Richmond) makes 13

Nathan Foley (In and under, busts a gut, tries hard, a goer, but he isnt gonna be their either) makes 14

Andrew Krakouer (Not impacting, dont know where his headed, wont be there on a Grand Final Day makes 15

Greg Tivendale (Improved this year, Sell Sell Sell, stock price at its highest, 1 good year doesnt cover up 3 or 4 not so good ones makes 16

Ray Hall makes 17- We wont win a Premiership with Ray. Tries hard. Good run, but wont be there on the big day. We need a Premiership CHB and FB. Ray at the moment isnt that and hes not a Ruckman.

drumroll....my shock selection

Shane Tuck (Hasnt gone on from last year, just treading water again. Effective enough though to keep his trade value decent. In stock market terms his PE is high now, so It may be time to cash out).

So thats 18 players who for mine are not future Richmond premiership players.

You weren't far off Ramps with your predictions last year. Those striked out are gone while those in bold are no longer in the senior 22. Foley and McGuane probably the only ones to take their names off your list.

Having the balls to make the tough decisions and getting up afew trades (even some) that the supporters wont like will determine how quick Plough gets success as Richmond coach. Its now or never for Plough and I hope he understands that in the end itll be the players or him if things dont work out and as we all know the coach gets it! Wallace is smart and for mine, he'll nail the players who cant play before they nail him. The next 2 months will say and determine a hell of alot about the RFC during the next decade.
Better late than never for Plough.

I agree that Foley and McGuane are showing signs but im not yet convinced that theyd be there on grand final day. Players like Patrick Bowden can also be added to the list and Id be looking to trade Joel Bowden to at the end of the year coz he has some currency with 2 All Australian selections. Its also pretty obvious that Kingsley wont be there so...hes on the list as well.
