Right type for us to bd recruiting

Agree. Same age as Jonty Faull.

Good to get younger this early rebuild

All clubs have those silly late picks, they're often just not listed.

You get as many picks as you have spots left I think, in order by club, but most just don't draft that many anymore

we have 81 also

Why did the Cats delist him after 1 season?
As much as I detest them, it is very rare (if ever) that players leave that club and then forge success elsewhere.
The Cats have a reputation of being very patient with young talent which is another red flag for me.
Hope the kid proves me wrong but something doesn’t add up here

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Maybe he just didn't want to live in that shanty town, surrounded by ford falcons and stepping in cow paddies everywhere while the masses froth over dangerwank when Retschko is a diehard Tiger fan.

Unless he just couldn’t adjust to the trip down the highway? I also wonder why Geelong would let a player go who plays consistently well in the reserves . We don’t toss them after one season.

I wish him the best but I wonder what the knock on him is.

They were probably clearing house to make way for curnow and Marshall etc, which worked well for them I see.

Unfortunately we do not have a good track record in recent times  recruiting ex Geelong players.  Hunt Kingsley and Neeld spring to mind.

Have some intel. Is more school boy footy related so will let it go to the keeper.

3. His first football memory was being up at 5.30am wearing his Richmond football gear, ready to have a kick of the footy.

9. He was a Vic Metro teammate of young Tigers Josh Smillie, Luke Trainor, Harry Armstrong and Tom Sims and a Caulfield Grammar teammate of Jasper Alger.

He averaged 21 touches in the VFL and looks quite athletic.

Whats the catch, Geelong?….
