Who cares. The game has gone past him. It did many years ago around the time he split up with Aussie and now Danish again Kim and he hooked up with that aparent and attempted thespian Bec.

i used to dislike him Tucker at the beginning, but in all honestly he is a ripper guy from what i see. Plays for his country never gives up and a very respectable family man. Whats wrong with playing on. How many years did we put up with Fabrice Santoro and Moya roam the circuit.

Others like Tomic and co could do a lot worse than look at the way he portrays himself, instead they take pot shots from the cheap seats which reeks of jealousy and immaturity. Scud for all his faults played for the country all the time and was a true champ in that regard.

Game has past him Dan. Body is giving up on him too.
I guess he can just earn some extra cash on the circuit and will always have a guaranteed entry in the Grand Slams bar the French. He may have a one last crack and make a quarter or a semi somewhere but his time is up.

Yep Moya Brugiers who won 2 French Opens and co played the clay circuit for years and the slower rebound ace type of courts but yeah they made their cash too and went slowly as well.

IMHO he is getting serious injuries now and he needs to hang the racquet up sooner rather than later.

Roddick lost in 3 straight sets. His dream of winning Wimbledon is slipping away from him year by year.
Well done to Tomic through to round 3.

Have to say have never liked watching him play because of the way he carries on on court.

But I have always admired the fact he is always available for Davis Cup and representint his country. It comes first with him and that's a wonderful attribute.

Unlike, one Sam Stosur who made herself unavailable for the most important Fed Cup tie in 3 years because she needed to get ready for te French Open and we all know how that turned out

Also, as I mentioned before his fighting spirit and guts should never be questioned. If all Aussie playes (male & female) had the same desire and guts they'd be more sucessful (are you reading this Sam "I'm stunned I lost that" Stosur)

Ditto on the 2nd bit

Still not sold on the first bit

It is about consistency....needs to build on things from here.

I've seen it too many times in the last 20 odd years. One good tournament and we think we've found our next Rod Laver. The Poo anyone? ... promised so much with so much natural ability and delivered practically nothing

The only 2 who went onto to achieve anything were Rafter & Hewitt..
