The Age says the Essendon clash jumper has got the tick from the AFL so we'll be playing against this when it's our home game against the bombers:

Shame Rioli's retired now, he would have looked great in that. Very slimming. ;D

Ho hum :sleep

I think we can say that about all of them  :sleep. An opportunity was there to exploit a new line merchandise with a good different design and every big Vic club baulked at it and the AFL have ended up with a farcial situation :sleep.

Just a reminder we'll get to see us run around in this little number in round 21 against the Bombers. The Dons wear their clash jumper against us in Round 9.

What do we all think about our clash jumper and would you like to see us use it again next year?

As I have said previously I say it looks great.
Perhaps we could wear yellow shorts with it instead of white.
Maybe we should wear it for every away game. We have a 100%
strike rate wearing it. :thumbsup

Personally I far preferred the PRE season strip with the claws and Tigerlogo

Seeing the Tiges win in it always helps but the class jumper looked better than I thought it would.

Are we wearing our "clash" strip this weekend or has that idea been scrapped?

Brisbane Bears played North Melbourne in rd 1 1987 and the Brissie Lions played North in the other Prelim of 1999. :lol

Ah now there's proof of traditional rivals  ;D. Tucky you can add Buckley rejecting both of them to play for the Pies lol.

The AFL obviously still hoping North end up on the Gold Coast lol.

Perhaps the AFL are regretting not merging Fitzroy and Northso to compensate they have scheduled them for rivalry round.
