I was watching the show last night, Caro on Franklin was embarrassing really. I was watching Plough and I thought ... hes gonna get stuck into her ... but he refrained, in the full knowledge that a very short time from now, Tambo will start putting together regular highlight reels. And then Caro will cop it good and proper from the Plough  ;D

I don't think Tezza is to worried about NOT getting Buddy. I cannot see Buddy being the type of player who takes on contests (read takes contested marks) - his focus currently is being a crumber which isn't what he was recruited for IMHO

Average marks per game 2006

Blingers   4.2
Franklin   4.1

Average tackles per game 2005

Blingers   2.1
Franklin   1.6

Both have similar disposal and ratings averages this year. The only thing Buddy is well in front of Blingers on is goals. 24.7 from 11 games compared to 12.17 from 18 games. Franklin does well against the bottom 8 sides yet goes missing against the top 8 teams

Announce FoxFooty finishing.  :(
Kim Williams, CEO of Foxtel was on:
- yet to have a resolution with 7/10
- even if one reached, will not have a sufficient base for 24 hr AFL
- FoxSports3 will carry games if a deal done with 7/10
- certain feature programs will be continued (WLF, On The Couch, etc) on FoxSports3 but to be decided which ones
- same deal knocked back by 7/10 that 9 accepted if they were to get the rights
- Foxtel are committed to keeping AFL games if they can do a deal with 7/10

Couple of callers from up north laterthought it would put AFL off the map up there. Darwin only have Ch7, no Ch10 and now no FoxFooty.

Terry & Caro:
- Pondered Clinton's media future
- disappointed for the AFL
- could be 8 FTA games next year
- FoxFooty only outlet for AFL for some people in Aust
- they went on a date today to the Tommy Hafey Club lunch
- Jill Lindsay is a mad tigers fan (didn't know that)
- don't need gimmicks in our game such as music after goals
- our home game so not up to Sheeds to decide anyway

Terry has a list management meeting today:
- no decisions made yet (sure. TW didn't say sure, that's my bit)
- he's the one who tells a player when it's over
- will meet mostly with Greg Miller about the list

Other news:
- Cam Mooney having anger management  ;D and has copped more fines
- Jade Rawlings retiring saves the Bulldogs $150,000 next year (they were paying heaps of his salary)
- Hawks to play 4 home games at Launceston for next 5 years, if they get 7 home & 4 away MCG games
- Hawks didn't know Spida was doing media last weekend until he interviewed Clarkson after the game  ;D ;D
- 77% voted for no entertainment at the GF in yesterdays poll  :clapping

Terry's Team of the Week

Wirrapunda - McPharlin - McMahon

Raines - Scarlett - Hodge

Mundy - West - Rooke

Cooney - Lynch - Davey

McManus - Neitz - Ebert

Ruck: Lade - McLean - S. Burgoyne

Int: Mitchell - Cousins - McDonald - Bell

NO PIES!  :lol

Thanks FF and top reporting  :clapping  :cheers

- could be 8 FTA games next year

Who would watch all 8 games every week ??? Too much footy :P

- they went on a date today to the Tommy Hafey Club lunch

Isn't that sweet  ;D

- don't need gimmicks in our game such as music after goals
- our home game so not up to Sheeds to decide anyway

Glad we aren't doing it but if we were to do it why would we have songs playing for Bombers goals at our home game.

Terry has a list management meeting today:
- no decisions made yet (sure. TW didn't say sure, that's my bit)

I'd reckon your bit FF is on the money. Terry needs Ramps lol.

- Hawks to play 4 home games at Launceston for next 5 years, if they get 7 home & 4 away MCG games

Great! The draw being compromised even more. We'll be one of their games in Tassie given Tigers supporters made the game down there this year a success and a sellout (where's Richmond's cut of the dough ::) ) and probably have their members at our home game as well :banghead.

- 77% voted for no entertainment at the GF in yesterdays poll  :clapping

Isn't no entertainment already what happens pre-game and half-time at GFs  :shh

??? ??? How would it be any different than now?
I smell an excuse to shut down Fox Footy rather than a reason.

With respect to fans in NSW, I doubt the bosses of Foxtel could ever understand what the AFL means outside of Sydney.
Maybe a massive drop in Pay-TV subscriptions in the AFL states might help them to begin to.

Well done, Fish  :clapping

Question for Fish:  What was the relationship like between T & C?  Frosty, cool, warm, etc etc  ;)

Did they say when actually FoxFooty will be finishing?  The 7/10 coverage better be a good deal better than the coverage we get from 9/10 at the moment.  Why bother with a FoxSports 3.  Nine has the tennis, cricket and NRL all wrapped up and you get coverage on FoxSports and FoxSports2 already.  Do they really need another Sports channel?  Why create another Sports channel and not keep FoxFooty?   I don't understand and aren't happy either >:(

Re B&F eff up Terry said  Kane was just trying to do exactly what a leader should do in letting evreryone know where the club is going.
The players had been spoken to 48 hours before B&F
Mistake was they might have wanted to find them a new home and sort of wrecked that a bit.
Kane has been upset over it all week.

Silvagni – spoken to five or six ppl for 2 positions – SOS was one of them.
They spoke to him about his situation at Carlton and trying to suss out where he's at

Ashley Prescott is looking for a development job in Melbourne's west according to Grybas
Terry spoke to him 12 months ago and tried to lure him - he'd be a very worty person to have at club.

Norm Smith:

Brett Kirk – Terry
Ryan O’Keefe – Caro

Thinks Swans will win the flag.

Terry thinks Hawks will go well next year

Re what’s Caro doing for the future, she said, she just wants to stay with Terry.
Well there you have it folks, Caro officially has the hots for him poor thing lol  :-* :cuddles

Think I saw tongue in the farewell kisses at the end of the show. The lights dimmed as the music and credits rolled. Too dark to see what was going on but my screen seemed to be fogging up from the inside.
