They're coming back  ???
What do you guys think of the video umpire and would it fit our game?
Doesn't seem to take up too much time and I would rather see a correct decision than missing out on possibly winning a game because of a blind umpie :wallywink

It's over. Storm through to the GF  :woohoo

The video ref works in NRL because the play stops anyway whether it's a try or not. In Aussie Rules it would penalise the side kicking-in if it was a point anyway. It's not perfect either. The Storm could easily argue that their disallowed try was a try as the ball went backwards in goal.

You love interstate teams don't you Moi lol ;).

I really wanted the Storm to win.  Now I'm in a dilemma as the Broncos are the local team.  Would be a nice farewell for Shane Webke if they win.

Inglis is very good.

With his athleticism, build and smarts he would have been perfect for modern day Aussie Rules.

Get him a nice "sad to see you go" card from the local newsagent instead. Anyway, Storm has a few Qld players - including the Qld and Aust hooker! Go Storm.

I reckon a few AFL teams (the tigers included) could learn alot from the way the Storm go about it.

No matter what they stick to their plan, paly ofor one another and play the percentages and as a result they get the results.

Last night even when the score was 12-6 I never for one moment thought "gee the Storm are in trouble here" - in control the entire time.

Get on Melbourne Storm. Paying 1.75 on centrebet head to head and 2.10 with a 4.5 start. One of the most dominant seasons in the recent history, and the Broncos are just two weeks on from a humiliating defeat at home to St. George, the side Melbourne so ruthlessly killed off on Saturday night.
