Richmond were close to drafting Rowe 2 years ago, apparently. He had a good first year. I don't know what happened to him this year.

Kingsley might be a short-term option. It may depend on how much we'd have to pay him.

Gaspar - you'd want to know that he was over his injury troubles. Too risky, IMO.

I wonder if they're still interested in Jeremy Clayton, and whether he's also keen to re-start.

My preference is not to take a discard from another side, history has shown just how few of them go on to be decent selections. However if we were to pick someone up, I would be looking at addressing some areas where we are perhaps a bit light on, such as rucks and key defenders. I will probably get shot down, but if his shoulders are found to be ok, Cameron Cloke could be cheap insurance as a backup ruck/tall. Also Nick Smith may be worth looking at, was a junior defender, still very young. I'm not really interested in anyone over 25.

Clayton will probably be on a AFL list next year but it's going to be difficult for us to get him now. I've heard Port are now keen on drafting him.

We did the right thing last year picking up Matty White. As you say Jezza, very few decent recycled players end up in the PSD.

With Lucy he may be a risk but at the very least deserves a rookie spot.

Was very highly rated last year and has the tools.

It seems the rumour over the past one or two months about Kingsley ending up a Tiger is growing.

We have no delisted AFL players training with us. At least we know now there's no Clokes near Punt Rd  :thumbsup.

Btw, I heard there are a few Coburg boys that are training with us. Does anyone here know who they are?

Whispers I've heard say the Coburg boys are:
(actually Brian Royal named them at Club80 the other week :rollin)

Jake King  :clapping

Sam Robertson (as Jack mentioned earlier in the week)

Nick Carnell

Shaun Huy

Just like Shane Morrison starring at Richmond because the "only" reason he was not getting a game at the Lions was because of Jonathan Brown  :scream.

If the RFC is a ship, the two eldest Clokes are more like icebergs  ;D.

Speaking of ex-Tigers, I read on BF that according to SEN Zantuck is training with Carlton. A perfect match lol.
