Eskimo Queen is scratch. Dived forward and collapsed underneath the barrier  :o (is okay though).

Favourite Maldivian got knocked in the barrier next door is out too  :o. Cut on the temple.

Re: Punters corner / DC's 5 star system - COX PLATE
« Reply #49 on: October 24, 2007, 03:58:30 PM »
I'm really stuck for the Cox Plate this year, the Turnbull really confused me, Devil Moon was a great run, but will he she be Ok after the Caulfield Cup, Haradasun's race in the Turnbull was OK, considering he was worked hard from the outside gate and was trapped 3 wide for the whole race, Miss Finland is just a great mare.
Anyway, I'm confused, anyone wish to post their thoughts on the Cox Plate this year?
You can see the Turnbull here:

Miss Finland for mine but that's only because she's a top racehorse and class normally wins the Cox Plate.

Here's the odds for the Cox Plate btw

3.80 Miss Finland
5.00 Haradasun
6.00 El Segundo, Devil Moon
9.00 Efficient
13.0 Marasco
14.0 Divine Madonna
22.0 Zipping
31.0 Eskimo Queen
35.0 Lad of the Manor
41.0 Niconero, Wonderful World
101.0 Magic Cape

Perfect ride by Nolen on El Segundo. Miss Finland got trapped on the fence.

Had a day out on the punt today.

Picked 7 of the 10 races today.

Got the quaddie also  :thumbsup

I am celebrating the win as we speak.

As for Luke Nolen's ride on El Segundo, it was a 10/10.

I knew going out of the straight for the first time that he was home. Generally sits back a bit further but was midfield today and won with ease. Great ride and training performance.

They should be though as signals from the brain don't have to travel far to the rest of the body  ;D.

Funniest thing was one of the guys on channel 9 said"" the stewards should make a video of his ride and give it to any upcoming apprentices to show them how to ride."" He got suspended for 11 meetings for flattening the 2nd horse, yeah GOOD RIDE NOT!
Forget who the clown was on channel 9. Richard Freedmans  ?
