Too true. Bush has knocked off tricky dicky as the most despised president ever. Everyone is glad the imbecile is gone. Poor McCain didn't have a chance.

CNN shows it was American women who flocked to Obama and won him the election.

These razzamatazz inaugurations are way too much over the top for mine and glad we don't have them here but still a nice speech from Obama. The Americans love their quotes don't they. The hard part starts now though for him with such high expectations.

US Election - It's President Obama again

The popular vote was close but Obama won pretty comfortably in the end as the result comes down to electoral college votes in US presidential elections: 303 - 206 with Florida not included yet.

He's still going to find it hard in his second term as the Republicans still hold control of the US House of Reps.

It hadn't changed this time around either. Loopy tea party followers were actually believing Democrat voters were going around voting twice. There was also talk of Republicans threatening to go to the courts if Romney had won the popular vote but only lost on electoral college votes. In the end they lost both anyway. The Conservative side of politics here and in the US has totally lost the plot linking up with all these crazies of the far right. It's just a scary turn off for the average voter.

Of course there's always the bigoted conspiracy theories of our own media fruitloops like Andrew Bolt  ::) who only yesterday was so confident the polls were wrong and Romney would win   :wallywink. His excuse now for Obama winning:

"The Latino and African American voters are also likely to be the kind of people with their hand out for benefits."

Bigoted comments like that just prove any imbecile can get a job writing baseless crap in the media these days ::)
