As I said on another thread - Rory is one lucky fella.

Most thought he should go before he did his knee and I don't see how anything has changed.

It's really bad luck that he's injured himself, but this isn't a half-way house for highly unmotivated footballers.

It's nothing personal, he just doesn't cut it at this level.

Summed it up perfectly TS - perfectly
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

I like Rory, so i'll put him in the Draga category - will never probably know (due to injuries) what he might have achieved.

He has the ability, but lacks the drive. :banghead
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

After reading todays paper, there shouldnt be many more delistings. The only changes appear to be from the players that we are going to trade. From looking at this it appears that Rory may get himself another contract to stay with us.

I was wondering why Terry would want to keep him on our list, then i was at Northland yesterday and picked up a cheap video from a clearance sale, it was the highlights of Richmond's 2001 season. I went to everygame, but looking back at the highlights Rory had a fantastic season and kicked quite a few goals(24) as a floating forward line player.

Maybe Terry remembers this form and is keen to bring him back to his best.

It was also sad to see the way that Brad Ottens played that season, he was very damaging in the forward line that season kicking 46 goals. He also took a large amount of contested marks inside 50 that year as well.

Makes you wonder what Terry can make of Brad.
