During the week they said it's very difficult to kick goals at the old Doug Wade end where the grandstand has been demolished and it's now open to the elements.

More a learning role for a forward. Griffs wasn't a defender in his junior footy IIRC.

CT, anyone else play for Coburg?

I got told by others who watched the last qtr that McGuane, Gus, BrownE and Dea played. They weren't sure of any others as they weren't paying much attention because Coburg were "dreadful"  ;D

The RFC boys that played were

Griff, Browne, Gus, Derickx, Arnott, McGuane, Darrou, Dea, Elton, O'Hanlon, Verrier, Connors, Wright and Turner.

Matty Dea was best of the RFC boys and Arnott was pretty good also. Elton showed a couple of nice signs and that was probably about it. O'Hanlon took a couple of nice grabs but not much more.

First time alot of these boys played together and many of the senior Coburg players didnt play.

There's some highlights on the RFC website of the RFC boys playing for Coburg last weekend.

I'll post the direct link to the video when one is made available.

Arnot looks a gem.  Piva's not too bad either.
