Some food for thought going into this season. The youngest 22 Richmond players:

McBean. Grimes. Dea.
Helbig. McIntosh. Bachelor.
Ellis. Williams. McDonugh.
Astbury. Elton. OHanlon.
GSimon. Griffiths. Conca
Vickery. Vlastuin. Arnot.
Darrou. Verrier. Martin. Cotchin.
Bents, as good and incisive your posts are, Im finding it hard to read them with that girl saying something to me that looks inviting.  ;D
.......It's mesmerizing.

VFL 2013: The state of the clubs

COBURG TIGERS

Last year: 11th

Predicted finish: 13th

The story so far: Entering the final year of its alignment with Richmond, Coburg will have a new coach - Tigers development coach Tim Clarke - and is trying to save cash so it can go it alone next year.

The X-factor: Orren Stephenson - The mature age rookie has recently been upgraded onto Richmond's primary list but he may also play a significant part at Coburg this season.

Why they'll fail: Not enough ammunition. The mature-age rookies - Sam Lonergan and Ricky Petterd - will help but there will be a huge reliance on the Richmond-listed players.

Why we care: Coburg has great multicultural links and will be right behind Adam Saad, who is a pocket-rocket that will be on the AFL radar this year.

Apparently Lonergan did a hammy.I wonder if he was standing next to Grimes when it snapped?

Got there a few minutes into the 1st, so missed Lonergan doing his hammy.
This ground is freaken massive,as a friend of mine said you could have put the goal posts on the wings and still not lose any distance. The ground was windswept,so both teams defended on one side of the ground when against the wind and attacked on the other side when with the wind.BOx hill seemed to be cleaner and more direct with their disposal.Coburg seemed to always do one handball too many and a lot to players not expecting it.
Of our boys....I liked arnotts game plays the game hard ,maybe a little too hard at times.
Grimes was a maestro as usual, maybe his disposal was just a little rusty, but otherwise ran freely and at times at full tilt.
Big Derricks in the ruck pulled in some big marks ,but his disposal was just plain awful.
Now i saw a player who i think was helbig. Now this kid when he runs at the ball always does it at full tilt and doesnt matter whether theres a brick wall or mick nolan in front of him he will go through it,i can now see why dimma keeps picking him.
Loved Kingy juniors game too, like his bro he's hard at it
Sorry if i left anyone out as i didnt recognise a lot of them
.I was sitting on the grass at about half back /half forward.Behind me was kingy with his folks i think,Dimma,Chocco.Chocco was very vocal at times and would bark directions when the ball was near him
