We're winning the centre breaks 8-0 but have nothing up to the ground to kick to and once the ball hits the ground the Cats are stronger and more switched on and we're so loose  :banghead. Otto is killing Gas  :-\. Let's hope we go more direct and hit our targets with the breeze  :P.

Always the way. Cop injuries when we're getting thumped  :banghead. We don't have any forwards as it is  :help.

Disgraceful display. Undisciplined in simply manning up an opponent and as for our tackling ... what tackling  :banghead.

Krak could be in trouble for that kicking in danger too. Both from the tribunal and injurying himself  :help

Tigers=Not good enough, very simple.
Forget about the positive spins that Plough puts on things eg young inexperienced forwards etc. How many games has Nathan Ablett played ?
Answer 11.
And also, I wish someone would tell Polak that defenders dont play from behind either. ::)
This could be 100 point thrashing the way things are going

True Jack but it's not just our forwards fault. The way the ball is coming into our forward 50 is pathetic. Just plain dumb. For example when Richo marked 80m out on the near HFF in that second qtr, instead of waiting for someone to run back inside 50 he just bombed it to Clever who was outnumbered 5 to 1  :scream. Just dumb dumb dumb.

Just had a look at the stats on the AFL site's gameday thingy. 15 Tigers with just possies 4 or less. Geelong only have 5. Says it all. Geelong playing as a team while we've had too much left to too few.

LOL @ putting up the membership number now  :wallywink

Yeah become a tiger member.   3 100 point beltings last year. already on track to better that this year ;) ;) ;)
On a serious note, I really hope they do put in this half and at least win the half, nothing less will be a disgrace.
All the talk about being really well advanced at this stage of the year, well , lets see it then.

Gaspar has been very unlucky today. Ok there's the hands in the back rule but he can't even bump into a forward without giving up a free, it is ridiculous!

A bit like the bombers eh Jack  ;). Always have said for us to shut up
and let our footy do the talking otherwise it's just hot air like we are seeing today.

Seriously the only positive today is our goalkicking. Everything else is pitiful. Plough isn't shutting down the game like he normally does at Kardinia Park because it's only a NAB Cup game and Geelong are loving our looseness, handling errors and poor decision making.

Krak has a knock to the knee.

Ive just done my pilgrimage of tiger forums and Im saddened to announce that...the greatest football philosophers ever in the history of the globe, the world and the universe- Diggler/Redford have declared the season over. I can also pass on that according to Diggles, its now time to book the caravan parks for september holidays. ;D :lol

:banghead This better not be the signs for the season we have all be looking forward too...
I don't think the "F" word has come out of my mouth that many times in 2 hours before. From the first 10 minutes I thought, this is gonna get nasty  :banghead
It was absolutely shocking, it seemed everytime we got a goal, the Cats would go and get 3 more. Now was it just me or did it look like there were more Cats in out F50 then Tigers?  :-\
:banghead And bloody injuries, how many more can we cop? :(

The only highlights I can think of from todays game was, Browny's goal  :bow
The pressure Tambo put on the Cat's player (forget his name) which resulted in a turnover and Richo's goal and the goal kicking, we were pretty accurate, if only we got more inside 50 possessions :banghead

Oh and yeah, Lids was looking good  :thumbsup Needs a haircut though :lol

Lol at Tivs getting our only 9 pointer  :rollin

Too bad most of our boys didn't know how to use them in their lame attempts to tackle Geelong players  :scream.

At least we ran out the game and won the second half. 43 points is better than the 100 it was looking like it would be midway through the 3rd quarter.

Jacko and Harts haven't done themselves any favours as 4th year players staying on our list at the end of the year. Mind you they had plenty of teammates.

Joel, Browny, Newy and Rainesy seem to be the only Tigers with class today. Foley and Tuck battled on honourably. I was pleased with Polak's game especially given the ease at which the ball was coming into our backline.
